The following restrictions apply to all projects:

  1. Animals used in any experiment must be treated humanely.

  2. Proof of adult supervision is required for projects involving larger animals.

  3. During the Science the Fair Exhibition, no live animals can be placed on display.

  4. No hazardous chemicals, such as bug sprays, weed killer, oil based paints...etc. should be used in Science Projects.

  5. No combustible chemicals, such as gasoline, natural gas...etc.

  6. No tools or utensils that produce an open flame are allowed in any Science Project.
    NOTE: If items need to be heated use a closed source for the heat, such as an electric stove.

  7. People can NOT be the subject of science projects, except for surveys.

  8. Plant use is not restricted. However, large plants (bushes, trees...etc.) are not to be destroyed or mutilated as part of the project.

  9. During the Science Fair Exhibition glass jars are not allowed.

  10. During the Science Fair Exhibition, the use of liquids of any kind should be avoided due to the risk of spillage.

  11. During the Science Fair Exhibition, items that have noticeably strong odors must be sealed tightly inside 'plastic' jars.
